Recently, our ballet school hosted a vibrant and inspiring open lesson in classical ballet. The event was led by the Headmaster of our school, Shara Karsakpaeva – a renowned pedagogue and founder of the first private ballet school in Eastern Europe (established in 1999).

The young dancers demonstrated elements of classical choreography: hand and foot positions, exercises at the barre, simple jumps, and turns. Special attention was given to correct posture, graceful movements, and discipline – the foundations of true ballet mastery.

Parents of the students were present and watched their children’s progress with pride and excitement. Many noted that ballet classes develop not only the body but also character: teaching patience, concentration, self-confidence, and the ability to work in a team.

The Sofia Ballet School continues to accept new students aged 3 to 18 and invites everyone who wishes to discover the magical world of classical ballet. Classes are conducted with an emphasis on individual approach and the joy of movement.
