Over the past week, we focused our attention on one of the most important aspects of human life — farming. During our themed “Farming Week,” we immersed ourselves in the daily routine of the countryside and got an up-close look at how the food that reaches our table is produced.

The main focus of the activities was getting to know the animals raised by farmers. We learned more about the care they require, the products they provide us with, and how crucial it is to treat every living creature with respect.

We also turned our attention to the plant world — fruits and vegetables. We discussed:

• What kind of care different crops need to grow healthy.

• When the best time is to harvest them.

• Why it is important to choose seasonal and local produce.

The most vital lesson for all of us was connected to the value of a farmer’s work. We realized that agriculture is not just a profession, but a mission that requires patience, knowledge, and a love for the land. The week gave us the opportunity to understand how much effort goes behind every single apple or vegetable we consume daily.
