The NIKATOR Private Secondary School brightly and warmly celebrated one of the most joyful folk holidays – Maslenitsa! This year, the farewell to winter took place in a cozy, family atmosphere, bringing together students, kindergarten children, teachers, and parents.
The celebration began with themed lessons in all classes and groups. The children learned about the history of Maslenitsa, the traditions of Cheesefare Week, and the meaning of pancakes as a symbol of the sun and the arrival of spring.
The highlight of the day was a real pancake feast! The teachers baked fragrant pancakes with a variety of fillings.
Such events help children feel a stronger connection to culture and traditions.
