Fifth-grade students have prepared inspiring projects on the theme “Day and Night”, exploring myths, legends, and natural phenomena.

The initiative is directly connected to the curriculum, examining the perception of the world, light, and darkness in mythology, the Bible, and science. The students researched and compared how different cultures and eras explain the creation of the Earth and astronomical phenomena. In their projects, they explored mythology and ancient legends about deities of light and darkness and the struggle between chaos and order, the Bible and the account of Creation and the separation of light from darkness, as well as science with modern facts regarding the Earth’s rotation, axial tilt, and the alternation of day and night.

The project helped the students understand how humanity journeyed from ancient legends to scientific discoveries.
