On February 25, 2026, the Rector of the University of Mining and Geology “St. Ivan Rilski”, Prof. Ivo Koprev, visited Secondary School “Nikator” as a guest. He presented our students with a presentation about the opportunities for studying at the university and spoke about the profession of a mining engineer.
Our pupils listened with great interest to information about the international successes of Bulgarian engineers in the extraction of minerals. They learned that Bulgarian mining engineers are among the best prepared and most sought-after professionals in the world.
Prof. Koprev shared his personal achievements and challenges in his career as a mining engineer. He advised our high school students to study seriously in order to receive a good education and achieve successful realization in life.
