On 18.10.2024, the students of G.S. UlanovaLanguage School celebrated Lyceum Day. The celebration began with the welcoming of the school flag and a choral performance of the school anthem, created to the text and music of our teachers. Seventh-grader Mikhail Kurmanov reminded his classmates of the history of the establishment of the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum in St. Petersburg on 10/19/1811. and its famous alumni, including the poet Alexander Pushkin. Maria Bogdanova from the 7th grade recited Pushkin’s poem “I.I.Pushtinu (“My first friend…”) Our graduates got to know with interest the life of lyceum students at the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum through a documentary film. The Headmaster of the school, Mrs. Shara Karsakpaeva, congratulated the students and teachers on the school holiday and wished everyone good health and successful endeavors. The celebration ended with sports competitions and competitive games.
