With the arrival of autumn and its warm, vibrant colors, we organized a series of creative workshops for students from first to seventh grade over the past week. For several days, the school atmosphere was filled with children’s laughter and inspiration, giving students of different ages the opportunity to unleash their imagination and express themselves through art.
Throughout the entire week, both younger and older creators gradually immersed themselves in the magic of autumn crafts. In one of the main activities, the students created beautiful autumn bouquets by combining bright leaves, dried flowers, and various natural materials. With great effort and attention to detail, each child put together a unique arrangement showcasing the richness of the season. Working with natural elements helped the children connect with nature and learn more about its seasonal changes.
The activity where students excitedly painted plaster pumpkin figurines also sparked immense interest across all grades. Using acrylic paints, brushes, and a wide variety of shades, they brought the traditional autumn symbol to life. Some chose classic orange and earthy tones, while others experimented with more creative color combinations, turning every pumpkin into a true little work of art.
This creative week not only developed the students’ artistic skills and fine motor abilities, but also created a wonderful opportunity for communication and collaboration between different grades. At the end of this inspiring adventure, all the crafted bouquets and beautifully painted figurines brought immense joy to the children, who took them home to decorate their living spaces and keep a warm memory of the celebration.
