With great excitement, smiles, and a festive atmosphere, Nikator Private Secondary School  welcomed its students, teachers, and parents for the beginning of the new school year. The schoolyard was filled with children’s laughter, beautiful bouquets, and eager anticipation for the days ahead—filled with knowledge, new friendships, and athletic achievements.

The festive day began with a ceremonial program prepared by the students themselves. Special attention was paid to the first-graders, who crossed the school threshold for the very first time. Traditionally, they were welcomed with warm bread and honey, wishing them a smooth and successful journey into the world of science. Older students also took their first steps into high school, ready for new challenges.

Musical performances and artistic acts by the school ensembles enhanced the festive spirit, highlighting the school’s rich traditions in the arts and dance mastery.

Immediately after the official ceremony, the celebration continued with a colorful and energetic sports festival in the schoolyard. Under the motto “Health, Strength, and Team Spirit,” students of all ages, together with their teachers, took part in various sports disciplines and relay games.

The athletic activities demonstrated that physical health and team spirit go hand in hand with academic education at Nikator School.

The event concluded with the ringing of the traditional first school bell, after which the students, led by their teachers, headed to their bright classrooms for their first lesson of the year.
