From March 30 to April 3, a subject week on natural sciences, mathematics, and ICT was held at Nikator Private Secondary School.
The 7th-grade students organized the game “Knight Moves Forward”, in which they answered questions by moving the knight figure across a chessboard filled with questions based on the curriculum.
The 5th-grade students solved problems on finding the perimeter and area of rectangles and parallelograms. The 6th graders studied direct proportionality. The 7th graders reviewed lessons on solving inequalities. All of them worked on interactive tablets with screen sharing.
During the ICT classes, all students demonstrated their knowledge and showed great interest while working on various practical tasks. The younger students from 3rd and 4th grades worked with the Scratch 3 system. The 5th graders used their knowledge of word processing in Word and created a fairy tale and reading comprehension questions with the help of AI. The 6th-grade students presented group project work by creating presentations on topics of their choice: “Modern Cars” and “Fashion”. The 7th graders showcased mini-projects using the Python programming language and prepared for a group project. The 8th-grade students began working on creating a website and their own blog.
