At the end of the lesson, they solved a thematic crossword puzzle. They also received a gift – an amethyst – a stone for protecting a person and preserving his sound judgment.
The students also visited the university library, held a short meeting with the rector – professor Ivaylo Koprev, who told curious facts about the extraction of minerals and their importance for society.
They also entered the specially erected chapel of St. Ivan Rilski in the university courtyard – one of the most revered Bulgarian saints – the patron saint of the Bulgarian people, patron of miners, geologists and workers in the mineral and raw materials industry.
The meeting was very interesting and opened up a new, impressive, rich and valuable world to the children.
