"World Water Day"

World Water Day

Nikator Private Secondary School enthusiastically and creatively celebrated World Water Day – March 22, 2026.

Students from the primary stage actively participated in engaging educational projects dedicated to the importance of water for life. They used the interactive whiteboard to play a special educational game that developed their attention and memory while learning facts about water resources, the water cycle, and the need to conserve water. The game combined fun with important messages – children sorted images, solved riddles, and answered questions related to water protection.

Particularly impressive was the project by 5th-grade students. They drew how they imagine water as a woman – a symbol of life, care, strength, and beauty. The drawings were diverse and full of emotion: some depicted water as a gentle mother nourishing the earth, others as a powerful river-warrior overcoming obstacles, and still others as a girl carrying a bucket of water but with a gaze full of hope and determination. Through these artworks, the children demonstrated their understanding of the connection between water and the role of women in many societies, where they often bear the responsibility for collecting and managing water.

At the end of the day, all the drawings were displayed in the school corridor, and the children discussed how everyone can contribute to better water access – from saving water at home to supporting global initiatives.

Nikator Private Secondary School continues to educate responsible citizens who respect nature.
